Spring Tagging!
As you are all aware, Tagging is our main source of fundraising and it helps support all the fun and amazing opportunities we get to do as a squadron. If you have not signed up we still have spots on Saturday April 22 8am-530pm and Sunday April 23 830am-530pm. Sign up here.
For those who have signed up, THANK YOU! Please remember the following.
Arrival time at the armoury is;
a. April 21 5pm sharp b. April 22 8am sharp c. April 23 830am sharp
Cadets need to be in their Blue dress Uniform. Make sure you polish your boots and iron your shirts. Cadets with long hair must wear hair in two braids or a bun! No facial hair is also important!
We tag in all sorts of weather, make sure you dress for the weather, bring your parka as it is also a rain jacket!
Parents, thank you for supporting your 102 family this weekend. You will be required to drive your cadets to the location they are tagging. Please ensure you wait with them until their tagging partner arrives. At the end of the shift, you will pick your cadet up from the location they were at when you dropped them off. Please ensure you wait until their tagging partner is picked up and also wait until a squadron staff or SSC picks up the cadets' money box.
Again, we thank all of our cadets, parents/guardians, SSC and staff for working so hard to make this fundraising activity successful.
Band Practice
There will be band practice this Sunday, April 23rd from 1400-1700. Attendance is NOT MANDATORY for anyone tagging on Sunday. Cadets not tagging on Sunday are still expected to be at band. Any cadets that have not paid for the band sweater must bring it this weekend or Monday night. Sweaters are $50.80, checks should be made out to “Navy League of Canada Barrie Branch”.
Please check Google Classroom for updates.
Drill Team
There will be no drill team practice this Sunday, April 23rd due to tagging.
