Cadet 365

Every cadet has a Cadet 365 account for Microsoft that is used for communication in the cadet program. All cadets should download Microsoft Teams and Outlook as well as other Microsoft 365 application to easily access this. It is important to enable notifications and check regularly to ensure that nothing is missed. For those who have already logged on, please ensure that you are using it. The training team will be working on getting the rest of the squadron their log-in information over the next few weeks and will discuss how to access it with each level. Once you have your account information, you can check out the following website for onboarding instructions and help. https://www.canada.ca/en/department-national-defence/services/cadets-junior-canadian-rangers/cadets/cadet-o365/cadet-onboarding.html

Effective Speaking and Debate

The effective speaking and debate team will be starting soon! If you'd like to learn about preparing speeches, building strong arguments for debates and techniques to deliver your information to others, this team is for you. Not only will you learn about speeches and debates, but also develop key communication skills that can help with school projects, interviews and future opportunities. No experience is required and you will be taught everything you need to know in a constructive and judgement free environment.

If you are interested in joining, we will be hosting meetings on Microsoft teams until November 23. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Cadet 365 account yet, we’ll provide guidance on setting yours up.

In-person meetings will start on Nov 23rd.

When: Thursday 18:30-20:00

Where: Hillcrest Public School

If you are looking to join, reach out to FSgt Wright at wright2benjamin@gmail.com
